Don't use the word "gay" interchangeably with whatever derogatory statement you have to make about something. I highly doubt your parents asking you to take out the trash is gay. Or your teacher giving you a test tomorrow; I'm pretty sure the test can't have a sexuality either. Stop sounding ignorant. It annoys me.
